The Tomasso Companies is the outgrowth of the Angelo Tomasso Construction Company, incorporated in 1923.  From its roots and continuing to 1998 when the company became affiliated with CRH of Dublin, Ireland the primary focus of the company was in the construction industry.

Affiliate companies were formed during the later years; TBI Construction Company, LLC, Tunxis Management Company, and Tunxis Plantation Golf Course & Banquet Facilities, which today have been restructured as The Tomasso Companies.
